so i just finished watching the memorial of Michael Jackson. i woke up at 6:30 in the morning to watch it. i wanted to make sure i saw it from the beggining... i didn't wanna miss a thing! anyways. i cried like a little girl. i always have and always will be a fan of his music and him as a person. i didn't care what other people had to say about him, seriously. love him or hate him... he's a legend, and legends' never die.
the day i heard about his death, i really couldn't believe it.
i was eating in the food court at the mall and was watching the news on the televisions that were up. i heard the breaking news and was in shock.. i turned to my friend in tears and asked him if we can head home. i didn't even continue eating my food.
i literally grew up to his music. i remember growing up listening to "Ben" and "I'll Be There" and so on. my dad always bumped his music. my dad even recorded me when i was 4 years old singing and dancing to the "ABC" song. haha
that being said, Michael was an amazing person. also, and i quote, "Michael is the best performer ever." his music will live on, and so will his legacy.
